IDTechEx says RFID market to grown 10 fold by 2016
They expect the size of the market to go from $2.7 billion to $12.3 billion in 2010 to $26.2 billion in 2016. IDTechEx analysis here...

I think that estimate is accurate. It will be interesting to see if significantly more rfid companies enter the space or if the existing rfid companies dominate the space.
