New Hampshire has a bill drafted to regulate RFID
New Hampshire law makers are attempting to pass a bill that could change many things in the RFID landscape. One of the many items in the bill would be to require stores to remove chips from products if requested by customers. It is worthy to note that California, Massachusetts, Missouri, and Utah have all tried to pass legislation to regulate RFID and have failed so far. The bill is scheduled to be voted on in January 2006. A major player in this is activist Katherine Albecht, author of the book 'Spychips' and the founder and president of CASPIAN.
